A Celebration of the Apron : Remembering the Richness of Our Lives Through a Humble Icon

The Park City Museum is hosting curator EllynAnn Geisel whose Apron Chronicles Exhibit is on display at the Museum through the middle of December. Geisel will be visiting Park City in November and will be offering two programs for the public. To learn more about Apron Chronicles - the aprons, the photography, and the stories behind them please visit Park City Museum’s web site at www.parkcityhistory.org. On Thursday, November 3rd from 5-6PM Geisel will offer her program, “A Celebration of the Apron: Remembering the Richness of Our Lives Through a Humble Icon.” Accompanied by a laundry basket full of aprons, Geisel speaks on the apron’s historical odyssey, shares her life-changing apron journey, and discusses the people, aprons and stories she’s met and collected along the way. Audience members are encouraged to wear their own favorite aprons, and share in the storytelling.
