I thought I would start sharing our local businesses and what they do.  What makes them special and why you should go there.

Of course, if I'm going to do that., .No Name Saloon has to come first.  No Name Saloon is by far the most popular locals bar/pub.  Famous for their buffalo burgers. unique country/mountain ambiance, you must give No Name a try.

No Name sits in one of the most historical buildings on Main Street.  For years it was called 'The Alamo,' and a gathering place for locals.  Local dogs would sleep on the sidewalk outside or wait patiently at the door for it's owners.  Everyone knew the local's and their dogs.

Park City was one of the first towns in Utah to get the telephone and this was the office of the original telephone company of Park City.

Built to resemble the Alamo in memory of 'The Alamo,' where Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie were killed it is a wonderful building.  The defeat of the Alamo was 'huge news,' in Park City and commemorate with this beautiful building.

At No Name, you will rub elbows with locals, celebrities and tourists alike.  You can tell how popular it is, because right outside it's door has become the official 'taxi stand.'  Prime position for any Park City Taxi is three steps down from their front door for two reasons.  As you come out the door, you're headed downhill.  second, drunks don't walk uphill.  So, rather sober or tipsy as guests come out of No Name, in just two or three steps they can be your taxi and off to their next Park City Adventure.

If you are coming to Park City and you don't visit No Name, you have missed our most Iconic hangout.. When you go there, tell them you heard about them from FASTAXI and FASTAXI loves No Name Saloon.

I am Diania Turner and was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.  Though I will always love Texas, my heart is in Utah where I have lived for over almost 50 years.  In all of Utah, I love Park City the most because of its rich pioneer history, amazing locals and their wonderful live and let live attitude.  Acceptance and a friendly attitude  is what Park City offers and what I love.

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
